40th Anniversary Airborne Coin

To celebrate the upcoming 40th anniversary of the creation of the Canadian Airborne Regiment on the 8th of April 1968, the Airborne Association has released a special commemorative challenge coin. Each coin has a registration number with the Canadian Airborne Regiment hat badge on one side and the ExCoelis on the other. Click on the image to see a larger image showing both sides of the coin.

The 40th Anniversary Commemorative coin is a serialized coin from 001 to 300. The kitshop does not have blanks in which to engrave the same number that a person had on his original Canadian Airborne Regiment challenge coin. Commemorative items have their own serialized sequence of numbers. The numbering of the commemorative coins work on the same principle as prints or other limited edition items.
