Remembering Roland Benoit

BenoitRoland Oscar Joseph Benoit, known to everyone as Benny, passed away from lung cancer Sept 21st 1988.

Benny served his country from 1957 to 1984, much of that with the Airborne. He served in Edmonton from 1971 to 1973, with Special Services from 1977 to 1978 and in Petawawa from 1978 to 1980.

He was a strong, hard Airborne soldier who never passed a fault. He enjoyed nothing more than to be in the field and around the troops. Benny was well liked by all who worked with him and is missed by all who knew him.

R.I.P. Brother.
