Broken Soldiers Documentary: Ottawa Film Festival Debut November 2, 2013

If you are in the Ottawa area, please come on out to support the Festival’s generosity in showing this ground-breaking documentary. Dale Stevens did a great job showing Canadians the depth of the problems encountered by veterans in seeking help from the country they sacrificed for.
Broken Soldiers is a one hour documentary that explores the plight of Canada’s injured and disabled military veterans. The film also highlights the struggle of those veterans challenged by PTSD and homelessness – injustices and misunderstandings that affect thousands of people across the country.
Many well-known veterans and their family members appear in the documentary adding a human face to the growing tragedy in how veterans are neglected or mistreated by Canada’s often insensitive senior bureaucracy.
